AGES: For 2024-2025, we will be enrolling children ages 3-12. All students must be toilet trained.

SCHEDULE OPTIONS: We will be offering three variations in schedule to accommodate family’s varying needs. The following are the four options available this coming Fall 2024:

A) 4 days per week, Monday-Thursday, 9am-2pm

B) 2 days per week, Mondays & Wednesdays, 9am-2pm

C) 2 days per week, Tuesdays & Thursdays, 9am-2pm

D) 1 day per week, Morning Glory Program Dates and Times TBD (5 week sessions)

E) 1 day per week, Wednesdays, Homeschool Naturalist Program ages 9-12

CALENDAR YEAR: We will pause for summer break on Thursday, May 25, 2024 and will start up again Monday August 12, 2024. For the most part, our schedule mirrors that of the Johnson City Schools calendar year.

TUITION & FEES:

4 days per week M-TH (9a-2p): $590 per month ( Seeds Forest Kindergarten and Sprouts STEM Enrichment Program)

2 days per week T/TH or M/W (9a-2p): $322 per month (Seeds Forest Kindergarten and Sprouts STEM Enrichment Program)

1 day per week W (9 am- 2p): $185 per month ( Homeschool Naturalist Program)

Morning Glory Program $125 per session

(Full and partial scholarships may be available upon request )

Daily Rhythm

Students enjoy a consistent daily rhythm in which they can allow their imaginations to blossom and be immersed in the magic of the forest, while learning to be good stewards to the land and each other. All learning is seasonal and place-based while we gently guide through the foundations of Early Childhood Education with a holistic approach that incorporates Waldorf, Montessori, and the Reggio Emilia teaching philosophies. The flow of the day will include: Free Play, Literacy Enrichment, Morning Circle, Snack, Main Lesson/Enrichment, and Lunch. Throughout the day children discover through:

  • Plant and wildlife identification

  • Handwork (weaving, sewing, whittling, etc.)

  • Song

  • Music

  • Gardening and seed-saving

  • Primitive Cooking

  • Animal chores

  • Woodworking

  • Building with natural materials

  • Body movement, including eurythmy, and yoga

  • Storytelling

  • Spanish

  • Service Learning Projects

  • Basic understandings of native plants and medicinal herbs

  • Forest, garden, pond and creek studies

  • Permaculture and ancestral skills
